In the past, admins had used a pinned post to tell members about important announcements. Make certain to leave a single space in between each URL and the вЂњpinned tab count commandвЂќ as shown below. An important part of being a group admin is keeping community members up-to-date on whats going on in the community. First time I experienced that I almost panicked. It starts up with just the first, active tab. The same thing happen if you restart Google Chrome with a browser-window that is wider than your screen. Now, drag the icon and position it on any location on the taskbar. If you then drag again at the rightmost edge of the browser-window, ALL TABS DISAPPEAR. The app will open separately in the taskbar like a duplicate. Enter the number of permanent pinned tabs that you would like to have in place of the вЂњxвЂќвЂ¦for our example we chose вЂњ5вЂќ. In the address area for вЂњTarget:вЂќ you will need to add the following command to the end of the target path making certain to leave a single space in between the final quote mark and the вЂњpinned tab count commandвЂќ. Now you are ready to modify the вЂњTarget PathвЂќ. The browser meant to store pinned tabs per device, but it updates local storage with current browser window's state before exit regardless, hence the pinned tabs might be overwritten if user opened. Once you have clicked through, you will see the вЂњPropertiesвЂќ window with the вЂњShortcutвЂќ tab displayed.

To make a pin, right click on the website tab and select Pin. Open Microsoft Edge by clicking on the Start button then scrolling down to Microsoft Edge. To open all the tabs from your last browsing session in Microsoft Edge, click the menu button (three dots) in the upper-right corner of the window and select Settings from the drop-down menu. To get started you will need to locate and right click on your shortcut(s) for Google Chrome. Pinned tabs can be used to keep favorite websites always open and any pinned tabs are opened automatically when Edge is opened. On the General tab, in the Startup section, select Start with tabs from the last session. Doing so once in a while is ok but not if you have to do it every timeвЂ¦ Normally you have to use the вЂњTab Context MenuвЂќ to create pinned tabs in Chrome then repeat the same actions again the next time that you open the browser.
